Review: Can You Keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella

Can You Keep a SecretWell, it is true that I finished this book a month ago, but I still don’t know what to write about it. It was an unexpected story about an absolutely normal girl who has some secrets.

She is afraid of flights, and when a turbulence occurs she can’t hold her mouth up and spill all her secrets to an american stranger. Well this can’t be so bad, but when this stranger is your boss, well…. there it might be a problem.

She is just a girl in a big old city who wants to survive and have a good career. She has a normal family with, of course, a Shiny Pearl -her cousin, Kerry also known as Miss Perfection. Well, I really appreciated this character, because it made all the story to be more credible and realistic. I mean, even I have a relative who thinks she is number one in the world and always is doing that puppy eyes thing (disgusting!)

The story is predictable. Very predictable.  I mean it is obvious that  Emma Corrigan (the main character) will be with her handsome boss in the end, who is the owner of the Panther Cola Company, Jack Harper, but how?

Well, read the book and you will find out.
